As mentioned in the About section, Venin Abyss is a Machinima series I have created and have been posting onto YouTube to my channel under the name of MzRazberri. Venin Abyss uses the PC game The Sims 2, all of it's expansion packs, and countless custom content created by the Sims community and myself included. I write the scripts, send them out to voice actors who I have had audition to obtain their roles. Once their audio is sent back I use the script as an outline to place the audio into the editing program, add music (I do not own any of the rights to the music used in the episodes, all songs and their respective artists are listed in the video discription as well as on the Venin Abyss website), and some sound effects. Then I begin filming within the game. The use of chroma keying during filming is used a lot, building green screens within the game. I also use the program MilkShape3D to create my own animations to import into the game, then I am able to use those animations to further improve my storytelling for the episode.

 

Venin Abyss is a multilingual series. There are a few episodes that are flashbacks, and are completely performed by voice actors using the French language. I have come in contact with many individuals who were willing to translate my scripts for the French voice actors.

Since Venin Abyss is well received, there are also fan sites that have emerged. One example is a Russian fan base where they have dubbed over some of the episodes in the Russian language so more of the fans from that location can understand the story better.

Since creating Venin Abyss, I have gained over 12,300 subscribers. My channel on Youtube has around 1,800,000 views with the most viewed episode having over 210,000 views.
